Muscle Memory
The RBI Pro Swing is designed to assist players with hand speed while swinging a bat. This device teaches the proper hitting technique and hand position during the impact point of the swing.
The device is placed on the barrel of the bat. Once the hands and feet are set in the proper 1) LOAD position the shot is moved and located in the base of the chamber. As the swing 2) COIL begins the shot is moved through the chamber and at the point of 3) IMPACT the shot whips through the chambers. The training aid allows the batter to feel the power as well as hear the shot as they reach the impact zone of their swing.
Easy Application
Fits ALL baseball and softball bats.
Drop on bat and tap on ground to firmly secure. Make sure RBI Pro Swing is firmly secured
Rusty Greer's 3 Hitting Drills!
The Fence Drill - Stand in front of a fence with the end of the bat touching the fence and the knob of the bat touching the belly button. Get into your stance and make a swing keeping the end of the bat from contacting the fence. Designed to keep your arms tight to your body for maximum power.
Lead Arm Drill - Get into stance gripping the bat with the lead arm hand (Left handed hitters - right hand, right hand hitters - left hand) and swing the bat with the lead hand only. For best control, this drill is best done with the 12oz RBI Pro Swing.
Rear Arm Drill - Get into stance gripping the bat with the rear arm hand (Left hand hitters - left arm, Right hand hitters - right arm) and swing bat with the rear arm only. For best control, this drill is best done with the 12oz RBI Pro Swing.
"SWISH" AND IT'S MEANING - The "swish" is the immediate feedback you get when using the RBI Pro Swing®. The tighter and quicker you can snap the shot through the chamber the more defined "swish" you get. The "swish" illustrates the power that is transferred from your body into the point of impact. The point of impact is the moment you hit the ball and this moment is a fraction of a second. As a hitter, you want to transfer maximum power at this point.
Scientifically, the physics behind the idea is simple. You generate power during your swing. This power is generated from your hips, your torso and your rotation all of which creates energy and your swing. Just like all facets of life, we don't want to "waste" energy. As a hitter you want to transfer as much energy as possible into the ball which is transferred at the point of impact.
Once you understand how the RBI Pro Swing® works and what it takes to produce the desired "swish". Then you learn how to swing and maximize your power naturally. It's this muscle memory from swing the RBI Pro Swing® that teaches you to swing with the most power you can possibly generate.
